In general, once you bend a cymbal, it'll never be the same.

I've had my old K hi hats since the early 70's. About 2 or 3 times I have inadvertently stepped on the hi hat pedal when I was walking around (not playing) my set and the bottom cymbal inverted like a swish. Each time I was able to pop it back without any damage (and with great relief!).

New Beat bottom is bent??? I'd love to know how someone accomplished that! CryBaby

Chances are due to the thickness of the cymbal, its not repairable. I'd start looking for a replacement bottom cymbal.

Thanks for the input! The hat bottom won't lay flat so they wont close tight. Not a severe bend. So, I'm looking for a new bottom hat. Maybe I'll mix it up with a quick beat. Thanks again.
