Bass Vistalite Cleaning

Hey y'all, just picked up a vistalite bass today.

Two questions:

1) Anyone know of a way to clean the white gaskets? Just some soap and water or something?

2) Does anyone know what the inlay color of a blue vistalite bass should be? The hoops were completely trashed but the inlay is like this off-white non sparkly thing. Is that right? Should I be looking for a silver sparkle instead?

Warm soap and water with a soft cloth. Stay way from ammonia with acrylic drums. Factory hoop inlays for the blue Vistalite are silver sparkle.
