bass drum muffler id?

This came attached to a premier 20x14 bass drum I acquired, other than the overly large felt circle which I’m pretty sure is a replacement, I can’t find a picture match for the mechanism anywhere, is it a premier or some other make? Has ‘made in England’ stamped on it so potentially could be? The hole in the drum is a triangle, with the 2in line towards the head and the adjuster behind.

There is an 'S'(?) logo on it but doesn't seem familiar and can't find a drum company logo to match

Any help appreciated!

This is an original or period correct fitting for a British made drum, most likely a Premier or a contemporary brand such as Ajax or Carlton.
