Beautiful drum as always Mike. I certainly have a soft spot for those drums too. I found my Lyre badge WFL in 1993 and it is the drum that got me into WFL drums. Prior to that I was only really familiar with 60's Ludwig drums.

I remember that red one you have mike and it's a beautiful example. My example is funny... It probably might have been blue back in the day but it looks pretty dark green at this point. I have seen a blue one before and the blue looked really blue. Mine sure looks like it might have been green instead given the dark color of it. The catalog only shows blue and red though. It's a cool drum nevertheless.

I got one as well... but with a single strainer... I did a double take when I took it apart for the 1st time.... who had thought the Zephyr lugs are nothing more than a piece of metal folded to make the shape held on the shell by flat headed screws!
