Incredible young talent. The smirk and background vocals...priceless!

Wow! I would say that there youngster has a future in the music business! I didn't start until I was 12.....

That really is quite remarkable how he plays like such a natural!

A couple other notes: That right there folks is a ddrum Reflex he is playing. Those are made of Alder and sound amazing! Not a cheap set either - those COW ones are pricey compared to the other ones - shell pack in basic black or white can run only around 400 compared to these are a grand. Anyway - great drums - my next purchase.....eventually.

Next, notice how good those hats sound. Get this - those are simply a pair of ZBTs! I suppose that the HHs are the best part of the ZBT line. I played a friend's pair of ZBT HHs and was blown away at how good they sounded....did not sound or feel like a cheap entry-level pair of hats at all. This is a PRO drummer and he gigs with them - along with a bunch of high-end crashes and rides. I suppose a good little secret. I wonder if one certain generations of these ZBTs sound this good?

John

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

The Eyes have it. The ability to see, comprehend and respond to what is written on the multiple lines of the chart (especially at that meter) is one that does not show up very often, and certainly less often at that age. You might say he has Vinnie Colaiuta eyes. If it was baseball, we might say Hank Aaron eyes or chess Bobby Fisher eyes.

I've been following this kid on YouTube for 6 or 7 yrs. the 1st video I seen of his was Tom Sawyer. I think he was 6yrs old. he blew my mind, fell in love with him right there and then. it's been amazing watching Avery grow and master every song he plays. Very talented young man.

Hi Jeff, yes, I am still drumming. not in a band tho. do get together with my brother and friends from time to time and jam a bit. I'm down to 2 drum sets now, 60s Ludwigs and a set of late 80s Mapex from my uncle.

Hope all is good your way. all good here, just doing life.

Stay Wiggly,
Robyn
