I saw an add C.L. for a Tama set. The owner says the cymbals are Tama also. Were Tamas ever any good???

The guitar player in my band has a recent Imperial star set,and they are prtty good for starter cymbals,I like the crashes least,the ride is decent and the hats are really pretty good,I think they are nickel silver because they are not real loud,other good sounding quiet cymbals I have owned were paiste nickel silver lower line models,and the color looks right and have better tone than any brass cymbals I have ever played.
