Are drummers practical?

Great post! I have a couple of degrees in English and taught English and Art for years. I now make enough money as a pulp fiction writer to pay my beer bill and not much else. I enjoy writing song lyrics as well but, again, I'm not making any money doing that. In the end, it's all for the love of the process. Practical? No one has ever called me that. Many other thing, yes. Practical? NO.
