I've posted these on C/L for Local Pickup only...but if someone here wants them I would make an exception....you would have to pay the postage as well though.

These are in excellent condition....beautiful MIJ drums.....that cool part of 60's 70's MIJ drum history.

I have them listed at $150 for the pair or $90 each......I could do $75 each for a Forum member. I put new heads on them too. They actually sound pretty good. I've used each one with my Gretsch kits with no complaints.

I'm trying to downsize and 'cut-the-cord' with some of my collection.

Those are some beautiful drums. That red one would go well with any sharktooth type lugged kit of any make. That white one is a beautiful very common color - would go well with a gazillion kits. They are both very very clean. You pricing may be a hair high.....just the nature of the market right now, but not by much.

What is missing is some interior shots - I mean shoppers need to know if these are the thicker 6 or 9 ply shells or the thin 3 ply with re-rings. That makes a huge difference. With my experience, some of these snares can be tuned to sound really great - that nice woody vintage tone, as found on so many recordings back then (think early Ringo). I restored a Majestic that had the thicker 9 ply shell - and was amazed at how good that sucker sounded....all about good edges and proper tuning.....very woody.

Oh yeah, I just helped give you a bump too :)

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!
