Anyone saw that movie?

A while back, I was browsing through TV channels and on MGM, I stumbled upon some movie about a former rock star who faked his death and now lives incognito as a laborer, but then decides to put his old band together, falls in love and stuff.. I don't think it was such a great movie, but quite interesting and amusing nonetheless. Sadly, I can't remember it's name and I had to go away and do stuff, so I never found out how it ended.

DOES ANDYBODY KNOW IT?

No, that one is very similar and could almost be considered a prequel, but in this case he actually tried to reunite surviving bandmembers.

Oh no, wait! It IS Eddie and the Cruisers, the sequel! So I thought right that the two movies were very similar! Great, thank you, I gotta watch it!

Eddie and the Cruisers II: Eddie Lives!.........not as good as the original movie, but still......good tunes by John Caferty and the Beaver Brown Band none-the-less.

"We ain't nobody though Eddie. We're just a bunch of guys from Jersey."
