Hi guys,
One of my New Year's Resolutions, besides stopping swearing (but I broke that resolution before lunchtime on New Year's Day!), is to sell my collection of collector-grade Supraphonics. They've been taking up too much room in a too-small condo, and I've never even played them! I'll list them here if anyone is interested, before I list them on ebay- one every month or so - this year. I'm not in a hurry and am willing to hold out for collector price - these snares are gorgeous - but I wanted to offer them to VDF members before I go to ebay. I plan to include a "UFO" plastic case with each, as that is how I've stored them for years. And that's a good way to ship valuable snares, despite the extra cost.
Anyhow, p.m. me if interested. Thanks for looking, Marty Black

Lastly, I have a circa 2006-2009 "Imperial Jazzfest," which is a 5" Jazzfest fitted with 10 Imperial lugs (with the recess for the center bead of a metal snare). This was a prototype developed by Jim Catalano, Marketing Director at Ludwig. This snare, along with a Super Sensitive 10 Imperial lug Jazzfest in 6 1/2" depth, were purchased from Jim by Bun E. Carlos. Bun E. still has the latter snare.
This snare is in a fancy (100th Anniversary) lined Ludwig zipper case.
This will be my only notice on these snares; I prefer not to use the "For Sale" feature on VDF. But I wanted to give everyone a heads-up on these snares.
