LOL - less than an hour and only 200 bucks or so, even if it got to 300 that's still a screaming deal! I don't think anyone needs to worry to much, sight unseen gear probably won't ever get to high on shopgoodwill. Could be cracked and a rewrap for all anyone knows, way safer buying 400's and 404's sight unseen...

I thought I had the green JF, but was outbid in the last few minutes. That someone probably needed it more than me. Anyone on here get it or the 14" K's?

I didn't list the name so as to not bring undue harm, stress or negative juju to this member :D, and you won't be able to see all those kits listed and know who it is Laughing H, but this shopgoodwill cat has never really ever been in the bag to be let out.............. Many posts on here about that site, and they usually go like "anyone live near Toledo that can pick up a drum for me....."

I couldn't get the cash together on the JF, as much as I'd love to have it. It would have been pretty spendy to get a shipping company to go pick it up and pack and ship it anyway. Plus, it coulda been a re-wrap for all I could see in the pics.

I'd love to see pics if someone snagged it up though!

I bet it wasn't a rewrap after thinking about it, those heads look factory original and match the 70's B/O badge. Not sure someone would rewrap it and put those original heads back on and it ends up at GW?

The more you think about the nature of donations too, probably someone cleaning out a house who didn't know better and just drops a truck load off to GW.

Have any of you guys ever thought of detailing your collections, marking them some way, so in the event something happens, your wife, kids, whoever knows what to do with the stuff? If they are like mine, they know they are round and shake the windows, that's about it. Wouldn't it peeve you off to look down, or up in some of your cases! LOL, and see some mook like us buying your prized drum(s) for 100 bucks somewhere?? crying2-07

It would be good for everyone to have insurance on all of their vintage stuff. And in doing so, the insurance company would have the info you've given them with the approximate worth.

So what did those hi hats + stand sell for anyone know?
