I'll be out of town until Friday, but I'm considering putting up my mid-60s Slingerland Silver Sparkle kit for sale upon my return. I haven't had the opportunity to use this particular kit and, unfortunately, I really don't have the space to keep it. I'd rather not go the e-Bay route unless absolutely necessary. I'm trying to see what type of interest and offers it would bring, so I'm also offering it locally.

This is honestly the cleanest looking Slingerland kit I've ever seen from this era. It's got a 14x20 bass drum, 8x12 rack tom, and 14x14 floor tom. When I purchased the kit it came with a 5x14 COB Gene Krupa Sound King snare drum. I've also got a matching Silver Sparkle 5.5x14 Hollywood Ace. I'm not sure at this time whether I'm going to include either snare drum in the sale. We'll see how it goes.

All drums have the original Slingerland black & bronze Niles badges -- SN 118238 (Bass), 116743 (Rack Tom), 119293 (Floor Tom). All the drums also have their original Slingerland heads.

The bass drum has its original rail consolette, spurs and mounts, and silver sparkle in-lays on the wooden hoops. The rack tom has its original COB Stick-Saver hoops, dial-tone muffler and "diamond" mount plate. The floor tom has its original COB Stick-Saver hoops, dial-tone muffler, leg mouints & straight legs.

There are absolutely NO EXTRA HOLES in any of the shells, nor any other modifications of any sort.

I believe that this particular kit was sold as the "Slingerland Modern Jazz Outfit", but I might be mistaken. I'm open to all offers at this time.
