You came to the right place... you'll be hearing from Greg and Scott shortly - they are our resident Blaemire experts. I can't speak for the composition of that bass drum, but the toms are Blaemires and valuable all by themselves. You really lucked out finding those in a thrift shop. I waited -years- to find my Blaemires and when I did find them I had to have them shipped clear across the country.

Scott and Greg will give you some good ball-park estimates of market value. I don't know what you paid for them (can't be much if you got them at a thrift shop) but I can promise you that you will make money when you sell them.

Excellent find! Love the color of those. They appear to be in nice condition. That Pearl snare is nice one as well. Not quite in the same league as the Blaemires though!

Hey Ben,

Those look to be earlier Blaemire shells, as they are a bit yellower than the usual green ones. I’m not sure about the bass drum, but if you could look closely to see if there is a tag that’s been painted over, it would help in determining. Those Wellington badges are actually kind of cool, and they are the ones who built the kit, using Allen’s shells. These are obviously wrapped, so they are not like the Hal Blaine toms that you were referring to. His were just the raw, spun-fiberglass shells, with no covering. Could you please measure the depth, and diameter of the shells, by sticking a measuring tape on the insides. Don’t include the hoop in your measurements. I'm not an expert by any means, but it appears that the toms and bass drum have Tama hardware...could the bass drum be a Tama Fiberstar?

Apologies, the hardware on the toms does not look like Tama, just the bass drum.

I measured all the drums in the way that @mendozart mentioned and these are the dimensions.

BD: 14" deep and 21" diameter

3 Toms

1. 14" deep and 15.5" diameter

2. 9.75" deep and 13.5" diameter

3. 9" deep and 12.5" diameter
