Hi all
What's the best way to get this paint off the BDP wrap?
This paint was put on at a school so maybe it's oil based.
All suggestions greatly appreciated.
Goo Gone, your finger to rub it in a circle, and an old t shirt to wipe it off.
Yep, Goo Gone. No workbench should be without it. It's worth twice what they charge for it. I've used it countless times to remove the Duct tape residue from used heads.
Thanks guys & I have my fresh bottle of Goo Gone.
Will this work on a ducco finish paint job from 50's?
Just be careful around the seam with the stuff. I've had experience with it melting glue.

I just got a early 70's 16 by 18 Gloss Black Ludwig FT less then 2 hrs ago, along with a 10 by 14 CT, and someone glued some foam in the bottom of the FT...took around 3 tries, but Goo Gone took the residue off......
Goo Gone will destroy lacquer and latex paint. Good stuff just be careful. "Test Small Area" first is good advice.

So the Goo Gone did not work on the paint but cleaned up the rest of drum nice.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks
70 percent iso alcohol with extreme caution. Novas #3. Turtle Wax polishing compound White.
I'd start with the Turtle, then misspelled Novas #3. 70% iso last. If it's on the surface it will come off. If it has somehow bonded into the wrap could be a problem.
