a rare find (bonham fans)

Loading...

this really doesn't have that much to do with vintage drums..but i know we got a lot of John Bonham/Zeppelin fans on here, so i figured id share.

i was at my local record store and came across an original copy of "the song that remains the same" soundtrack. it was in really great shape so of course i bought it.

when i got home and opened it i was surprised to find an original magazine column page from the 70's that was reporting John Bonhams death. being as big of fan as i am i was both excited (to find it) and sad (to read it) i can't imagine what it would of felt like back then.

i don't care what anyone says..Jason Bonham isn't half the drummer his father was. (my personal opinion)

R.I.P. John Bonham, you're truly missed.

Cool find (sort of; sad reminders are never really cool). Maybe Jason's "not half the drummer", but he's still around and playing. Perhaps that's twice as good as checking out too soon.
