Happy New Year to all!
I have a set of Radio King shells that need wrap. I've been going back-and-forth on what color to use for a while, but I think I've finally decided...but it's a tricky one. I love the old sea foam green pearl, but no one makes it. However, drumMaker.com offers custom colors. So, I looked on their site at the marine pearl master color sheets and found one that is pretty close.
Would you guys mind taking a look at the attached picture and give me your thoughts? Has anyone ordered any custom pearl wraps from drumMaker? I'm concerned that the chip pattern may be so small that it wouldn't look right...Slingerland used a pretty large chip pattern back then.
Many thanks in advance for your help!
By the way, I have a 16x16 RK floor tom shell that I'd like to trade for another. Mine has no extra holes, no wrap, drilled for the small beavertail lugs. I'm looking for one that is a re-wrap candidate and was drilled the regular, large beavertails (or streamline lugs, I think the hole spacing is the same - please correct me if I'm wrong). I'll try to get a picture of mine and post in the trade section tonight or tomorrow.
Thanks again everyone!
Lynn
