Would have been around 1969-70 when I got it.
Got it, + 24" BDP BD and 16" BDP tom for $80 from a music store in town here! No mounted tom!
I remember thinking "Wow!What a big snare drum"....
I would have been around 14 at the time.

This kit would be considered a "Transition" kit.
Because, it has Beavertail lugs,then it should have had rims with holes drilled for the rods to pass thru,like the snare.
They were just using up old stock!
Drums are circa early 1948 I believe.
BDP is such a cool finish,isn't it? Such depth.
