Bought these used in '78 and added the period snare, last year. Please mind the dust, but I try to bang it off whenever I get the opportunity. Stupidly, I removed the tom mufflers, back in the day, and lost them. Did I mention stupid?

Ohhh, nice kit. Don't even talk stupid around me, I bet I can beat it! Laughing H
I've always found that a good layer of dust makes the drums tune better. Mind Blowi
I love the walnut and rosewood finishes that Gretsch made (still makes). Cool kit, I bet they sound better now than in '75.
Ha, haaa. Thanks Mr. Fishwalz & Super B. They probably do sound better now; I've always suspected a good few mils of animal-dander-enriched dust would enhance the overall warmth and tonality of wood drums (does the same treatment work for cymbals?). That said, I hate playing them against the damn wall. However, the Mrs. does like the easy access to her treadmill.
Play on!!
