I picked up a 73 Rogers script swivo set in the early 90's.It had been abused,including totally scratched/rashed black covering.So,I stripped the set,thoroughly cleaned and polished the chrome parts,replaced most of the broken collets and painted the drums with base coat-clear coat black auto enamel with gold metalflake in the clear.Came out quite nice.The toms have swivo mounts mounted on isolation brackets.The only alteration is Pearl style swiveling spurs.The tom mount on the bass was snapped off,so I made a delete plate to cover the original hole.Toms go on a Big R/swivo stand.I don't know if this set would interest anyone trade wise.I'm done with it.Looking for a BDP set to relive my misspent youth.Pictures will be posted if any one is serious-they are all packed up in my attic.P.S.
