"Curiouser and curiouser", said Alice. When I looked, the auction result says it sold for $418 with 25 bids on the 14th of April:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/LUDWIG-VINTAGE-1970-LM400-SUPRAPHONIC-SNARE-DRUM-/303119826644?_trksid=p2047675.m43663.l10137&nordt=true&rt=nc&orig_cvip=true

Are we looking at the same auction and eBay is giving us different information? I'd say that $278 is more believable given my price tracking data, but that's not what eBay is telling me.

Note there is a redirect if you use the original link (first post in the thread) which takes you to a different auction for an Acro which does currently say $278 although the auction hasn't finished yet. Is it possible you missed the fact that you were redirected? The link I've given above should avoid the redirect because it sets &orig_cvip=true

Yes, you are correct!! I didn`t click on the view original item link...My apologies...

I do not care for ebay`s redirection service...It`s a pain in the a$$ at times!!

Thanks for pointing this out...

Cheers

I went and checked out their website...doesn't seem like an Asian scammer, but who knows? Somebody ought to tell their customers they're dealing with a scam outfit; who's up for it?
