I just got a set of 70's Ludwig drums in butcher block...a 12, 13, 16, and 22. They are in decent condition but need a lot of tlc...they're going to need mounting hardware, rings, one hoop. No snare. These have the blue/olive badges with sharp edges. The serials are on all but the 16 and begin with 115. I'll get some pics up soon. Any help or insight is welcomed! This is my first restoration and I'm looking foward to it. Lame

Thanks Gerald. Right now I'm mostly in my research stage to determine what goes with what. I've found some hardware on ebay that will work. I'm trying to find Ludwig snare, cymbal stands, high hat, etc. that will be a good match for this set. I think the wrap is in good enough condition to restore. The good thing about butcher block is that it doesn't show scuffs or small scratches!
