For those of you who remember, I have recently aquired a late 70's riveted-seam WMP Ludwig Classic Maples in odd sizes (26,18,15,8x14 Coliseum snare...) all for $150. ANYWAYS, some people were pretty sure they belonged to a touring band, due to the sizes. I got them on CL from a man named Tim. He bought them from the original owner. Okay, so I was in the cases earlier today and there is a name stenciled inside...Kelly Jones. Does this name ring a bell to anyone? It is the name of the frontman of the Stereophonics, but that doesn't match up to the timeline of this kit. Was there a touring drummer for a big band named Kelly Jones in the late 70's?
