once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
Ser # 234521 made Oct. 13, 1965 is mine, but could be yours. The illustrious Fred Shannon and Mark Lewis wrote their names inside the shell on the white interior, but besides that, the heads (which are new, unplayed Aquarians), and one tension rod, everything is factory original.
No extra holes, ply separation, bearing edge editing, water damage or funny business. Needs new snare string, and possibly new snare wires (as a couple are "sprung" loose, but I'll leave them on as they're original) as well the badge is a little loose. There is a minor bend in the batter hoop, as well minor pitting (quite minimal). Chrome's shiny, tune it up and go!
I'm really picky w/ratings--I'd call this 8.5 cosmetically (where 10 is Perfect), and 9 functionally.
