Gary - I could get more $ if I waited, but the medical bills I have to pay have due dates. $1300 is a great price for the kit and will insure a quick sale.

Greg - I responded to your pm check your phone messages.

Thanks TG, it -is- a very fair price for what it is.

The race goes to the swiftest runner... first one to slap cash on the table gets the kit.

The buyer flaked out on me. He thinks I'm trying to scam him! You guys know I've had this kit advertised here, CL and my son tried to help me out by running it on fleabay. I told the buyer I didn't use Paypal and I asked him to send me a money order. When he saw the drums on ebay (under my son's name) he automatically assumed I was lying to him and trying to scam him!!!!

Now I have to put the ad up again on CL all over and hope that I didn't lose a potential customer because I told everybody they were sold. F'k me I hate it when people do stupid crap like this and queer deals. I've been doing business here for years and transactions always go smooth as silk. I thought I had these sold... I hate being accused of being a scammer.

The drums are still available. BTW, I have the second 12" tom that goes with this Hollywood kit but it really needs a serious cleaning. $1400. for all 5 drums plus shipping. Go for it...

Verminator: Thanks for wasting my time and forcing me to relist all my ads. I hope some of the people I have dealt with over the years post to this thread so you can see how off base you are about me.

I called you to discuss this man to man. Of course it seems odd to me. Im getting money orders etc and then I see it listed on eBay with your last name. Instead of discussing this rationally, and understanding why I would have trepidation, you flew off the handle and I was not allowed to speak. I didn’t even get a chance to say “ok, that makes sense, let’s move forward.” As a matter of fact, you hung up on me twice. Yes I swallowed my pride and called you back only to get more of the same. This is just depressing. I can’t believe you are sharing this publicly.

I'm "sharing this publicly" because you have forced me to explain why I am re-listing the kit! I have no time (or inclination,) to 'prove myself' to you, I need these sold. My years long reputation here and elsewhere speaks for itself. Check my seller feedback. Somebody is going to get a great deal on a killer set of drums. And BTW... you call me at 8 am to tell me you're cancelling a deal we only made the day before, you accuse me of scamming you and you expect me to be in a good mood about it???

Boys - Here is the relist URL at Craig's List:

https://reading.craigslist.org/msg/d/1961-ludwig-pre-serial-number/6699964504.html

This is a sweet kit at a give-away price. As some of you know I'm only selling off my drums for medical reasons (bills.) First come first served. Note: The kit will have to ship in two boxes (it's 5 drums) so take that into consideration when estimating shipping from 19607. Check or M.O. only - no Paypal.

I did call at 8:15 but never accused you of scamming me. As a matter of fact, I said quite the opposite. My first reaction to seeing your kit on eBay was that “YOU had been scammed.” That’s the only time the word was used. I see it all the time. BS eBay listings stealing pictures from Craigslist etc. When I saw that the sellers username had your last name it raised some red flags. My exact words to you were that “I do not feel comfortable moving forward and I am going to politely bow out of this transaction.” I never thought you were trying to scam me. Things just weren’t adding up. Your explanation sufficed but you never let me get another word in.
