I picked up a bunch of drums yesterday and this was in the lot. After taking a close look, it seems like it is all original except that the internal muffler is missing and the interior is black. I don't know much about these snares so if any of you have more info on value, date etc....The paper tag says mercury # 3331
50's Eagle badge Rogers
According to Rob Cook’s “The Rogers Book,” page 152, the Mercury snare was produced in 1955 and 1956, but only made in 1955 in White Pearl. The strainer is different.
I recently bought a 1958 Rogers set which had two drums gray inside and two drums black.
I have no idea about value. I’ll leave that to the gurus.

Does your snare have an internal muffler and what does it look like?
My set did not include the snare. The toms had a similar tone control knob to yours, but smaller. I can’t see the factory drilling right through the label, but who knows?
The throw looks like the one I have on a 1969 Rogers Classmate
Agree with Jmc . . not sure why they would drill through the label
