I originally posted this Thread regarding some shells I had for sale.

I described a minor paint flaw in one area of the bass drum. I did that because I had the shells up for sale at the time and I wanted give full disclosure.

I took the shells to the painter earlier this week and he agreed to fix the flaw (a small section was painted too lightly).

He did a fantastic job.

I may decide to sell the drums. I will not put them back together for now because if I do end up selling them it's far easier to ship these the way they are and the hardware seperately.

That painter is great - he just does not have a lot of experience with drums. He painted vehicles for Mercedes in Europe before moving to Canada.

I am going to list these and my 40's orphaned shells (pictured here). The floor toms are not easy to come by.

So for anyone trying to find shells like these (40's & 50's) that are already put together as a kit..........I'm the man.

I know roughly what the shells and hardware are worth and what I have into them. I know I won't get what I have into them out of the drums but I'd like to get a fare price....and make the buyer and myself happy in doing so.

Stay tuned for the sale info.

Cheers,

Gary
