'39 Leedy Broadway throw

Loading...

Hi,

Just in the process of restoring a '39 Leedy Broadway and require the throw lever assembly. Happy to pay reasonable price for the right part. As an afterthought, I'd be interested on anyone's view on the 3-way 'repro' Leedy strainer being advertised currently on Ebay. Thanks.

I bought one of the repro throws and butt plates. It fit perfectly in the original holes and works great.

Hi Kerry and thanks for your input. Aside from functionality, does the throw look ok in terms of build and finish?

Hi Gerald,

I have purchased 2 of the repro Leedy throwoffs (I believe they come from Bentley's Drum Shop in Fresno, CA) and they look and function great! The only thing is that they only come in chrome. Best of luck.

Thanks very much for that. I note your location with interest as when we lived in LA during the early (pre-riot) 1990s, my wife and I often used to drive down to Lake Elsinor to spend the day and get away from the city. Good times.
