Quick shot of the re-wrapped 14 x 8s. Gotta wrap the two 16 x 16 floors next.Lee
Bang up job, mate!!!!
Yep, they are as good lookin' as the drums. :) I picked up a late '60's 303 kit in "Silver Star" finish for a song and the stands came with it. They were as good as new under the dust. I have a resto thread on that kit if you do a search on Premier D303 resto
Kellyj:
Just looked at your 303 resto! WOW!! It's like showroom clean! Amazing. I've used a bunch of elbow grease, de-rust and chrome polish, but there are some bits on the this that have seen better days. Still, from 5 feet back, it looks pretty nice.
And they shake the foundation of my house when I dig into them!

OK, I have been following this thread and have to jump in and say, WOW!!!
Very cool, nice job and I too love the jetsons stands. My stands are more Flinstones, lol.

Lee,
Its a common problem with 40 year old + drums. Nicks, corrosion, blemishes. Pretty well unavoidable...
Once in awhile you find a nice time capsule that was stored away in a closet.
Can't wait to see your finished Moon kit!
