So I am now a happy owner of a 1930 Ludwig bass drum in Streaked Opal Pearl.

Anyway, it has the original calf skin heads and they are in nice condition. Are 28" calf heads in demand?

I think these were only offered as a snare and bass- anyone have the matching snare?

28" bass drums are the business...and yours looks great! I don't think 28" bass drum heads in general are too common these days, let alone calf. Good luck on finding the matching snare. Nice score on a rare finish bass drum!
