There's a 26x20 dual tension Leedy bass drum on my local craigslist. It includes a hard case, and is advertised as being from the 1940's. They have lowered the price to $150.00. It looks great in the pix. Is that a good deal? It doesn't have a pearl finish, its lacquer, but looks good.

The measurements are not correct it would be 14x26," what color is it? for $150,00 thats not a bad price, you'll need to get clamp on Bass drum spurs hopefully it will come with them!

I found that listing.... looks like a monster.
Good thing with a local purchase, the buyer doesn't get the money till you hand it to him.
I would go take a look, money in pocket.......

I bought the Leedy bass drum today for 125.00. Its a monster it measures 18"x28" in diameter. Its in fair condition. All hardware is there, some pitting on rods and claws, casings in good shape. Its dual tension, 12 on each side. Just need some spurs!
