My favorite ride cymbal of all-time in the A Zildjian series. Especially if you can find one in a brilliant finish.

I have heard good things about them for sure. Lots of cymbals prices are just down right now for whatever reason.

Happy New Year to you as well Blair.

Looking through a 1980 Zildjian SETUP OF FAMOUS DRUMMERS book.A lot of popular drummers at that time used this cymbal.

For what it's worth here, I got my first Deep Ride in 2000 and never seen one before. I wrote to MD at the time and asked for any info they could give me. They forwarded my letter to Zildjian,s John King who gave me all the 411 I needed on it. Make a long story short my letter ended up in MD's ITS QUESTIONABLE section in the August 2000 issue which was pretty cool.:D:D:D

i had an older one from the 70's or 80's. yeah, it was a boat anchor. if you need a heavy ride, it's nice. if you need some spread and versatility, keep looking.
