Check out www.mycymbal.com and pull up the videos of this model and many others. You get a very good idea of how incredible these cymbals sound. Jaye's cymbal will most assuredly sound close to those. This model is outstanding.

Here's the exact vid link:

Very nice sound. For the record, that one new is going for 405. Jaye's price is excellent.

thanks, McJ. BD, unfortunately l don't have any soundfiles but- here's a soundfile of one which is within about 60g of the weight of mine - http://www.cymbalsonly.com/cymbals/Bos/sf/s/22sm2616a.mp3 - pretty damn close 'cept the one rivet on mine gives a very very subtle sizzle which in no way intrudes on the rest of the sound (l could also remove the rivet if desired)

From lucky

I am in pusuit of the elusive perfect ride. If you could post a sound file I may be interested.

I'm a big fan of Bosphorus cymbals... and after 3 different tries, I finally found the perfect flat ride... a 22" Flat Ride, weighs 2850grams... It has the most beautiful shimmering silver like tone, not too much wash. I will never part with it.... an awesome cymbal!

Drum gal playing:
[V-Drums: TD9&TD12, VH12, Hart Pro Snare (as tom), PD125 (2), PD105 (2), CY12R/C (W/Bell Fix), CY8, CY5, KD85, 2 Smartriggers (Ride&Crash), "Stealthed" Ludwig Snare]

[Acoustic: Ludwigs: '65 SupraPhonic, '62 Bongos
. . . . . . . . . .Slingerlands: '72 White Tiger Pearl, 20x14,12x8,9x13,14x14,16x16, w/ '69 14x5.5 & early 80's10x10 & 8x8

[Bosphorus Cymbals (Traditionals: 18" MedThin Jazz C/R, 22" Flat Ride, 16" MedThin Crash, 14" Dark HH), 19" Master Turk Ride, 2 splashes] ]

Hell, sure, I'll put in a good word for you :p

Jeez, I just heard a story on NPR today about a single mother with 2 kids living with her parents and earning $10/hour as a hair stylist in Seattle...who actually got audited by the IRS.

WTF Mister T?????
