I don't care about the color of the letters, I'm more into the sound. My favorite cymbal is a 2002 16" med crash. I bought this 18" assuming it would have a similiar tone, to my suprise is a little more tame than my 16, now keep in mind I play HEAVY music, my main ride is a Z custom mega bell, and other crash pies are Rudes, so with that said, any of you classic rock, jazz, big band drummers, this 18 is perfect, (unless you want a cymbal to mount on your wall) its a player, no matter what the letters are its solid, just not fitting into my play for now.

Can you please explane me,why are black labeled 2002 more valuable then red labeled? Here in Serbia, red is more expensive. I believe red labeled are made in Switzerland and black is made in Germany?

Because the original 70's where black labled and John Henry Bonham, kieth moon, etc played black lettered 2002's not red lettered ones from 80's on, And Black lettered they where and are the originals! not red lettered one's. there is no sound difference you'll hear people say this, I've owned over 400 paistes, behind closed doors you could not tell the difference! I just like the look of a black lettered one that's all.
Thank you Vintagemore2000
