I agree,those older ones were great drums.And I always like those 6,5 snares.Any idea what year are those previous models?

Not sure, but what you can do is what I did, contact PEARL directly, send them a pic, they will tell you exactly when and where they were made, they have some older dudes there that know all the PEARL history
