The price Im asking was based on my local gutair center drum guy he told not to take less then 2500 but i had a hard time believing it was worth that much just a number i threw out there if any one makes me an offer it would taken under consideration im learning alot about this old drum of mine with every post please don t hold my ignorantce of vintage drums against me thanks The Band
If it was an engraved drum and you were a shop/dealer then yes.
But $800-1000 seems more realistic.
I would suggest checking eBay for a period of time for completed listings and the prices, and go from there.
This should give you a more accurate idea of what these snares are selling for currently.
You got misled at GC.... don't fret not knowing that.... no one knows a darn thing until they know it anyway.
