Incredible condition. Look, sound, and play great. They have been in storage and only played 3 times in the past 20 years. My brother bought them new and donated them to the special needs school where I teach. I'm going to use the money to purchase more instruments for our music program which is like a "School of Rock" on a budget. Include Zildjian cymbal bought with the kit. Located in Northern Virginia. 1973 Slingerland Phantom kit
Robert, this kit is so rare it can't be compared to anything else. as suggested ebay is a good way to go larger target market. and selling the stands and cymbals may bring more money, we have 2 large vintage dealers here on the forum,I'm hoping they will chime in or email me again I'll gladly give you their names and email address!
Well, $2500 it is. See the "how much is it worth" thread for pictures and rational. Okay guys, it's for a good cause, the kit is in amazing shape, and it's a rare piece of history. Any takers?
Thanks to everyone out there for the help.
I went ahead and put it on ebay. It's getting close to the beginning of school and I want to use the money for our music program. Opening bid is only $1200.
