I have a beautiful Ludwig Standard in Ruby Red Strata date stamped Mar 8 1971 with Tag #44673 that I want to trade for a Ludwig Standard in Blue Strata (preferred), or a Gold or Lemon Strata in the same great condition from the same era.

The drum has been completely dismantled, cleaned, and polished. It has very few and minor scratches on the wrap and there is some minor pitting on the lugs and rims, a lot less than what you’d expect for a 48 year old snare. The throw and lugs all work without any issues and has the 18-strand Ludwig snare wires with what appears to be the original snare cords (I am not an expert on that though, just speculating from the look). It does not appear to have any fading to the wrap (take a look at the pictures as it is a beautiful vibrant looking drum).

It also has brand new – Never been hit Remo Ambassador Coated batter side and Remo Ambassador Hazy snare side heads. It even has the interior muffler that is typically missing !
