Up for sale is a pretty cool 1968 Ludwig Standard kit in Downbeat sizes in Charcoal Astro wrap with white interiors! The kit is complete with matching snare. Overall, the drums are in nice, original condition with nice chrome and all tone controls present, but unfortunately all 4 drums have scuffs and scratches...but it just adds to the mojo and funkiness of this kit! Bass drum and snare are both stamped Oct 1968 and are the same shells as the top of the line Ludwig kits at the time.

14x5 snare has slightly newer 12-hole P85 throw off and generic wires but is all there with no modifications.

12x8 rack tom in all original shape, including tom mount, with no modifications.

14x14 floor tom in all original shape, including leg mounts and legs, with no modifications.

20x14 bass drum has original hoops with all inlay intact. Has original tom mount and single tom arm. The cymbal arm mount is MIJ and there is one extra hole, but is covered by mount itself. There is also an extra set of bass drum leg mounts with no legs. I believe they are MIJ also.

Thanks, John. She's not perfect, but she sure is cool! I'm not in a terrible rush to sell them...but they do need to go. Just trying to persuade the right buyer to pull the trigger.

Yup...threw these up on a couple of the FB drum groups. They are indeed cool drums, but not my cup of tea. I enjoy playing drums from the 50's and older. I'm sure someone will snatch them up.
