1968 ludwig drums

Loading...

My husband is thinking about putting his 1968 Ludwig blue pearl drums up for sale they are used (of course). I believe he said 4 pieces no stands but they still look and sound good. He has been playing on a set of Tama drums for awhile but he wants a set of Gretsch drums like Stephanie Eulinberg (kid Rocks Drummer). What I need to know is how much we should ask for his vintage drums??

Well first of all welcome to the forum and second of all, we need to see some pictures of the drums in order to determine just what you've got. Vintage drum values can vary widely based on the seemingly most insignificant things sometimes. 1968 was generally a good year for Ludwig drums, though.

I wonder if Donalyn Goodloe and Babs Godley know each other...

From babsgodley

Hi, Need help! My husband said I could sell his 1960's pre-serial number Ludwig Black Oyster Pearl complete set if I could get a good price. It's in excellent condition. Any advise on pricing and how to advertise it would be greatly appreciated.

In 1968....

It was a very good year

It was a very good year for small town girls

And drums in blue pearl

We'd hide from the light

Till the hour was late

In 1968
