So,

it's been a good day!

I sprayed the final coat on my hoops a few days ago, so this morning I re-installed the inlay. They turned out real nice.

Then, with all hardware clean from the soaking last weekend, I started polishing. Wow, glad that's over!

After all of that, one last polish of the shells and it will be time for the best part......

REASSEMBLY!!!

Looking good! Ya, it is a ton of parts to polish. I like to do one drum at a time so doesn't seem so overwhelming and you don't have to keep track of all the parts. I do the polishing at night in front while we watch TV, that way I can spend time with the wife and work on the kit.

You are doing a great job on yours, the shells look fabulous! And sky blue is just awesome!

Thank you!

Thanks guys!

I've got them together with the new heads and they look fantastic.

I can't wait to set them up and play them.

Thanks for all of the compliments, and I'll try to get some pics up later today. No matter how many times I do it, I'm still amazed by the difference that a little elbow grease and the right products make on these old drums.

All finished up and ready to play!

I am very happy with how these turned out.

Thanks for checking them out guys!

I have a Club Date set waiting for the same treatment, so i'll post pics when I start.
