Why ? Because there was only one bid with a day to go and I got a much higher offer to sell privately .

I haven't a clue as to what you are talking about with regards to the 50% of all his bids were made with me . The bidder , Bobby Colomby of Blood , Sweat and Tears fame has NEVER bid on any of my auctione before . What the hell are you talking about ?

Bobby Colomby !!!! one of my all time fav's, but after listening to him in the 70's I put the sticks away for a long time.... his style blew me away, and I figured if I coud not play like that it was time to quit.......it took me 30 years to get back into it,,,,and no I still can't play like him....

On my top 5 list for sure..........and while we are at it how about some input on everyones top 5.......

The format for eBay has changed since. http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?threadID=1000552191&anticache=1192825247830 When you use to click "bid" would show % of bids with this seller. It showed bidder made 50% of all bids made was with this seller. I dont know why. You offered it for sale in here for $895, when in eBay you had a bid for $900. That bidder bid $4000 on that drum. And now your link to show this, is gone. Im glad you sold your drum.

Jazzbo is not a rat..

Jazzbo has a great reputation as far as I know. I tried to buy this drum back in March April, but Jazzbo was out of the country or something. When we finally did connect, I didnt have the money. But I seriously tried.

A seller has no control over what bidders do. Oftentimes bidders are dumber than a pile of fresh dung, as it appears this one was. Frankly I dont care how famous he is, or his history, but he was a dumbass. Whats he has left is the appearance of something untoward in the auction. And that........... no matter how honest Jazzbo is, taints him. Theres no way Jazzbo could have known the bidder made such a rediculously high max bid, without being told it happened. And theres no way either could make it go away and not show up once a cancellation was made. Its a no win situation.

It probably wont make any real difference in the long run.

Somebody has a fine drum.

I dont know who Jazzbo is or the bidder, dont care. Im just a potential bidder and auction watcher. I have to watch these things as I bid. He asked the money for the drum and got it and then canceled. I woulda sold that drum all day long for $975 with shipping. Ebay use to put up that infromation to allow the activity done with the particular seller, but protect bidders idenity. The infromation was there for all to see anyway. Im glad you sold your drum.
