I'm not sure of year. Bought this kit years ago advertised as a 1962 kit. I'm guessing 1965? Snare maybe '62...

~ The GOOD NEWS ~
Sizes: 12",14",20" & 14"x5" Powertone brass snare. Snare is an earlier version with B&B lugs.(MINT) Although snare wires missing 1 strand.

The wrap is Steel Grey Ripple.(MINT) One very slight scuff found on the floor tom. You have to get the light just right to see it. It's about the size of a pencil eraser and looks just like a flat spot (Not shiney) as if a piece of tape is on it. The bass hoops have chips in the paint but are not dented or warped. The lugs are Beavertails with some pitting. Some areas worse than others. Insides flat gray with the Holiday/Cleveland paper tags.(Mint) Serial numbers: Snare=15XX Bass=37XXX 12" hang tom=37XXX 14" floor tom=34XXX

The Special Order features are: Fold out legs and cymbal holder on bass, U-clamp leg mounts on floor tom, clip mount hang tom w/consolette (hotdog-banana) holder on bass.

Heads have never been over-torqued. NO extra holes. Although when Rogers put this kit together they covered the swivel mount holes in hang tom with clip mount diamond bracket. No extra holes visible and this was not done by distributor or private owner.

~ THE BAD NEWS ~
All original heads and should be replaced to sound its best although bass resonant still in nice shape w/logos. Canvas cases drums came in are tattered and falling apart.
The chrome on the bass legs, diamond plate mount/consollete, floor tom mounts and about 1/4 of the tom lugs are rusty. They should be rechromed although some can probably buff out. The 12" tom is missing 3 tension rods and their washers. The rest are all there and 100% original. 2 of the bass T-handles and 1 of the floor tom thumb screws are slightly bent and can be straightened no prob, but I will leave that up to whoever restores this awesome and extremely rare kit.
