this snare drum was made famous by the use of Buddy Rich.
snare is stamped "Jul 29 1957"
-5.5x14
-3-ply (mahogany/poplar/mahogany) with maple reinforcement hoops
-kind of in-between a gold/silver sparkle
-custom tailored Puresound snare wires
-Remo controlled sound coated (batter)
-Remo ambassador clear (resonant)
one of the cleanest shells i've ever seen!
