The wrap is a regular wrap.
The inside is shiny, where there isn't any paint. Probably reversible, but not sure what companies used this one.
...painted shells which are a little over sized Slingerland did this to stained and painted shells, the wrapped shells are slightly undersized to accommodate the wrap

Can you tell me what the size difference is between the wrapped and non-wrapped models? Is it between 1/16th and 1/8th inch?

Well, I was going to remove the paint today, from the shell and the wrap and see where I stand.
Fishaa, I think the custom calf-tuck Is the way to go, but (sadly), I have too many projects that need attention. It may be a few months before I get to that point.

I should be receiving a Ludwig Professional and a non-Tone-Ring Slingerland Artist (1935+) shortly. These will both need some hardware and of course special attention.
I will start new threads when the drums are available.
