I have a 1928-1940’s Slingerland Bass Drum. Natural wood grain finish. It is 32” in diameter. It has one original calfskin head and one Remo plastic head. The heads are mounted with the original wood hoops. The drum is in good shape for its age. It is missing 2 tension rod/claws and 1 center post. It also has a green “US” sticker on it so I believe it was a military drum at one time. The badge is intact and in good shape. There are two significant gashes in the shell. I have pictures if you’d like me to send them to you. I’ve had it in my house for the past few years but the wife is redecorating and says it has to go. It has been a great conversation piece and I hate to see it go. This is a rare piece of history and needs to be preserved. I’m asking $200 plus shipping and a promise that you’ll take care of it. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. You can reply by email to drummincat@yahoo.com or text/call me at 256-282-6649 if you'd like pictures. I'll be happy to send them ASAP. Thanks.
