1920's snare drum parts

This is what I need to fit a 1920's small wooded snare drum - 3x13.5 or so. The butt end piece does not have to be identical to this one - this is the one that's on my 1912 Gretsch 3/12x 13.75 wood snare drum.

A leather (I think they're leather - could be hard cardboard?) butt end piece.

Woven string that was used for snares or some of that snare wire that was round-wrapped in metal.

A lug of these dimensions.

Gary - I have this one:

It came from a 1910 Oliver Ditson snare drum. If you can use it, I'll be happy to mail it out to you. Doesn't have as many holes for the snare strings as the one in your photo, but if you can use it, let me know.

Too many great drums to list here!

Were you able to track down the lug that you were looking for? I found a similar snare, picked it up for $2, but it doesn't have any of the floating tension rods. If you can offer any advice in finding some replacements, it would be appreciated.

I reckon I could do a decent repro of that butt piece with a decent piece of cowhide and a leather or even nail head punch.. But Matt (Ct Pro Percussion) could do one in a breeze...

( I love the "waterproof snare" imprint )..

Cheers
