Hey there;

Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY them from a guy named Faustino Cruz. (He usually goes by a username that includes the word "Leedy".) He took me last year for $60 for 8 "Leedy" slotted rods which turned out to be crappy reproductions which don't match originals and were raw metal, no plating of any kind. After asking him multiple times "are they original Leedy rods?" and "were they period correct, manufactured in the 1920s?" and him saying yes to both questions I received raw metal reproductions that you can tell are fake from a couple of feet away. After a couple of nasty emails to him he admitted they were fake and he had a machinist knock out a bunch for him a while back.

FAUSTINO CRUZ is both a THIEF and a LIAR who will take your $ and sell you GARBAGE. (On a side note, you will also get get spam for a year asking you to join Faustino Cruz on all kinds of dating sites! Effing scumbag!)

Ok , thanks for the heads up. These wont be easy to find, I'm sure. Between the scarceness and people saying they have some and then disappearing, I think making up some repros might be the way to go.
