one of the hoops was painted black and ther other in unoriginal. This bass drum was made to be a bass drum, it is not a floor tom convert. Probably a special order. There are a couple dings and one small small section where the wood has been filled with wood filler. Nothing drastic at all

Interesting legs on this drum - don't look like Luddies. Can you comment?

Would be helpful to see the wood-filler area.

Thanks.

Those are the correct legs for an 18" Ludwig bass drum of the period.

Please post some pictures of the inside of the shell around the grommet hole, please. It looks like it has been messed with.

Hey- I will upload even more pictures tomorrow. The grommet does seem to be a tad loose.. someone sometime might have changed the badge to a B/O but I can't imagine this drum being a Keystone. The sticker on the inside is from a Symphony store in Massachusetts. Furthermore, Since it probably came from a symphony hall.. maybe some student tried to take off the grommet and badge but was unsuccessful? There is no damage at all as a result of whatever happened. thanks

-not me. Maybe someone on here will, but that's not a real common drum. 18's are kinda rare, in general.
