18" Paiste 505 Heavy Crash Green Label

Loading...

Boys,

I have an 18" Paiste 505 crash up for sale. This one is bright, clear and sweet as sugar. I have made a sound file you can check out below. These old 505's don't turn up too often so get it while the getting is good. First come, first served. The cymbal has some stick wear and age patina but no nicks, dents or keyhole problems. Nice, clean cymbal. Still has green ink logo.

My apologies for not really laying into the cymbal and crashing it hard. I'm generally not a HEAVY hitter. I thought it was more important to show the versatility of the cymbal. It's a HEAVY crash so it can be used as a ride as well.

Hmmm, that is tempting. If had not spent so much on drums lately it would be a done deal.

Thank you!

These old 505's all sounded great to my ears. Paiste always made excellent sounding cymbals from the bottom of the line on up. These 505's are supposed to be the same as the 2002 line, so if you've played those you'll be familiar with the clarity of sound of this pie. I love the sound of this one which is why I bought it to begin with. Whoever gets it will be happy with it.
