Nice. Is it 18 or 20 inches?

It must be a 20" based on typical weights from that period. I knew immediately which era this was when I saw the first picture. It's a type I old stamp from the early 1940's. If it was one era earlier it would be a Constantinople.

It's very similar in appearance to this one with similar seconday "skip band" type lathing:

It also has the G stamp on back..

Another drummer got it from a 94 year old drummer..who used to back up people like Bob Hope and Rosemary Clooney..when he decided to sell all his stuff..in there was this cymbal...

Then the new owner..knowing he had something valuable..decided he needed some cash and put it up on Cymbalholics and Drumforum..

But no one was really interested in it but me..so he was going to put it up on Ebay..but fortunately for me..we did a last min deal just 15 min before he was about to put it up on the world market...and that was that..

This one plays and sounds like God..its that good..
